We had to say goodbye on March 31st, but my heart tells me you will always live on. I am truly grateful that I had the honor of knowing and loving you for 12 years. You were a gentle soul who embodied all that we who are true "dog people" love about our canine friends. You were loyal and loving. You brought peace to me when nothing else could. The gift of unconditional love and acceptance is something that I struggle to give myself and others, but came with ease for you. Our pets are great teachers, and I thank you for all the lessons you have shared with me over the years. You were the best.
